Integrating mind, body and energy

About Michelle Hall

Michelle qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1994 from Manchester University.  In 1999 she completed a postgraduate Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MACP) course in manual therapy and manipulation, and in 2000 her interest in combining her manual and rehabilitation skills with the use of different forms of acupuncture began. Michelle initially trained in Traditional Acupuncture, then in Western Acupuncture and Dry Needling.

In 2016 Michelle completed a Master's degree in Physiotherapy, endorsed in acupuncture, with distinction.  She has published research in dry needling for shoulder pain and dysfunction and has been on the Executive Committee for the Physiotherapy Acupuncture Association of New Zealand (PAANZ) since 2019.  She has been a post-graduate Physiotherapy Tutor since 2020 and in August 2022 she became the Lead Tutor for Physio-Acupuncture NZ.

In more recent years Michelle's interest has expanded into the mind-body connection and it's amazing ability to reprogram itself.  This has led her to study Integrated Health, including the use of PSYCH-K which is a very simple yet effective technique to eliminate a person's self-limiting beliefs and phobias.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys keeping fit by practising yoga, kayaking, hiking, sailing and she is also a keen runner having competed in several marathons.
